The BROEN BALLOMAX® HydroState concept enables district heating plants to access valuable data in real time or as logged data, depending on the customer's needs. With HydroState, utilities can monitor key parameters such as pressure and temperature and quickly identify potential leaks in the pipe network.

Advanced technology optimises district heating plants
Based on advanced technology the HydroState concept aims to optimise the operation of district heating and cooling systems. Using NB-IoT and LTE-M technology, the system can measure and log pressure and temperature data in the district heating network in real time, both for the supply and return flows and for regulating motorised valves in the circulation.The BROEN BALLOMAX® HydroState is designed to meet the strictest data security requirements in the utility sector.

Flexible solutions for all requirements
BROEN BALLOMAX® HydroState can be retrofitted to existing well valves, installed in a bypass cabinet or integrated into new valves, making it extremely flexible and adaptable to each customer's needs. BROEN VALVE TECHNOLOGIES also offers the solution either as a subscription solution or as a one-off investment, allowing customers to choose the model that suits them best. This flexibility allows district heating plants to get started with minimal investment, for example by starting with a single unit and gradually expanding the system as the benefits are realised.
