Leading Clients Toward Sustainable and Clean Energy Solutions

BROEN at WETEX 2024: Leading Clients Toward Sustainable and Clean Energy Solutions

BROEN was proud to join the Moosa-Daly team at WETEX 2024, one of the industry’s foremost events for clean energy and sustainable solutions. This platform allowed us to showcase our commitment to driving forward eco-friendly valve technology and guiding our clients towards cleaner, more sustainable energy technologies.

Our Director of Commercial Sales, Peter Larsen, shared BROEN's forward-thinking approach and unwavering dedication to sustainability with visitors and industry leaders. With ambitious goals set to reduce our CO₂ emissions by 70% by 2026 and achieve full CO₂ neutrality by 2032, we are pleased to announce that we’re already 58% of the way there—highlighting our progress in alignment with global sustainability objectives.

Green Thinking for a Greener Future

At BROEN, we don’t just talk about sustainability; we embody it. Our new facility in Denmark, which has achieved a DGNB Gold certification, is powered by 100% green energy sourced from external wind power and our own solar installations. By harvesting and reusing rainwater, we conserve 800,000 liters of drinking water annually. In our commitment to a circular economy, we recycle 70% of the brass we use in production, and we continue to seek new ways to minimize our environmental footprint.

BROEN’s innovation and industry-leading expertise allow us to reduce CO₂ emissions on single products by up to 40%. We’re also working to provide an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for every product we manufacture, empowering contractors and building owners to understand and quantify their environmental impact across the building lifecycle.
